Training - Steel Industry Products

Print Print
Course Overview
ESAB are the leaders in the manufacturing of equipment used in a very specialized sector of the cutting equipment industry. This is the Steel Industry Products or SIP products as they are known.  This gas equipment is typically used in steel manufacturing facilities for cutting extremely thick sections of steel.  Some products are used for the surface operation of “Scarfing” (a process used to remove impurities from the surface of large sections of steel during the steel manufacturing process) and other products are used for fast, efficient scrap cutting.

This specialized training program has been designed to train our customers on the correct and safe use of these very specialized products.  This program addresses such areas as Applications, Basic Process, Gases, Regulators, Hoses, Torches, Tips/Nozzles, with both class room instruction and hands on operation.

Who Should Attend
The course is designed for suppliers to or members of the Steel Mill, Foundry, Forging, Scrap Processing and Heavy Oxy-Fuel Industries.
